Septic Tank Replacement Portland Oregon

Goodman Sanitation in Portland, OR appreciates your property as much as you do. We understand that the prospect of replacing a septic tank is not pleasant and is a task best left to competent professionals who will handle the job quickly and with quality service.

Your septic system is basically a large filter and, like any filter, it requires regular maintenance to keep it working effectively. When filters become clogged through neglect, they can being to fail. A septic system failure results in costly and unsafe problems:

It has been said that the grass is always greener over the septic tank. That sounds amusing but, in fact, it is not a good sign if you have lush vegetation growth and wet spots over the drainfield. It could indicate a septic system failure along with these other warning signs:

Today's septic tank materials are much more durable than those used in the past. Many older pipes such as terracotta and cast iron become brittle. Ground freezing and thawing along with tree roots can also take their toll on these pipes. Eventually they can become clogged, weak, and may eventually collapse, resulting in a septic system failure.

When household flow rates exceed the septic tank's capacity to accommodate them or when an old tank is in an extreme state of disrepair, it becomes necessary to replace the septic tank. We will assess the proper size tank that needs to be installed and will replace your old one with a new tank that effectively suits your needs.
